Lenexa approves Habitat for Humanity housing project adding 50 affordable homes

Habitat for Humanity will build the homes over five to six years on a site the city acquired decades ago for stormwater management and park development. Officials say the housing location was never intended for the park itself. Nearly 100 people spoke at the City Council meeting.
